What does a 5th birthday look like?

A5 year anniversary, it can be great or difficult. At 5 years old we are big and we like to speak loudly to be heard by our friends. So obviously, this is not a rule but know that it is possible that you will have a few difficult hours. Some rules to follow to make life easier during a5 year anniversary. First rule: have the birthday party in a neutral place (= do not have it in your child's room). Second rule: you animate so you are the one who decides the rules and the games and the game changes. Third rule: we all play together. Fourth rule: we alternate calm games, DIY or workshops and active games. Fifth rule: There are no rules so anything can happen but it will be great! Sixth rule: we choose thebirthday games for 5 year oldsin advance on the My Little Day blog so that everything is ready before the party!

What do we do as decoration for a 5th birthday?

To succeed in your5th birthday decoration, we advise you first of all to ask your child what hisbirthday themefavorite ! Bet everything on a decor that matches their tastes (not yours, we know, it's hard!). Add to that a number 5 balloon, birthday garlands, a number 5 candle on the birthday cake and that's it! Don't forget the costume to match the theme of the party! As long as you are disguised yourself, it would be perfect!

What games do we play during a 5th birthday?

Yes, do a workshop for a5 year anniversaryis the best way to channel energies. On condition that you alternate workshops and moving games like “musical statues” or “relay games”. Doing a workshop is great but if it is in line with the theme of the party, it's even better. Workshop production can replace the surprise bag gift. If you do several workshops, the children can also put together their own surprise bag throughout the afternoon! If you make abirthday knight, you can for example do a workshop where the children make their own helmet then play different games such as "piling up hands", "the musical gift", "the postman" then continue with a second workshop during which the children make a knight's cape. At the end of the workshop, a photobooth is a must! So, at the end of the party, the children leave in disguise and you have had a great afternoon!
